Speed meets precision with Johnson’s new Johnny Square® MACH-1™ rafter square with level vial – a must have tool engineered for professionals' providing exceptional durability, versatility and accuracy. Our innovative Smart Mark™ Cutout delivers speed and accuracy with its easily identifiable markings, cutouts and notches for layout, scribing and marking cuts. Marking spaces are positioned to layout 1X, 2X, 4X and 6X lumber in widths from 1" to 6" as well as LVL's. Additional slots are positioned to mark 22.5, 30, 45 and 60 degree angle cuts. V-notches are located at each roof pitch to help accurately align your pencil when marking common top cuts. Scribe notches for ripping lumber are positioned every 1/8". Hi-visibility EZ-Read™ graduations and numbers are laser etched deep into the surface to resistant fading, scratching or deterioration, providing long-lasting results even under tough and demanding work conditions. Paired with the included tall stair gauges, provides a secure grip on irregular lumber and waning boards. The stair gauges attach seamlessly to most framing squares and can be used with circular saws as a rip guide or for angle cuts. Ideal for repeat angles, they ensure consistent, precise layouts for stairs, rafters, and stringers.
